Shakira's Waka Waka

What dance are you doing in your kitchen tonight?

Oh go on... we all have a dance song we play for a while over and over. And over and over...
For us this week and last, it's Shakira's Waka Waka,  "This Time For Africa" the official song for 2010 Fifa World Cup.

This is so much fun and the kids and I have been dancing and singing to Shakira on YouTube every night and we almost have the moves down. Is there a more wondrous singer than Shakira? This is a women who has pom poms in her hair. And then you want them too!

Tonight, inadvertently,  I'm wearing my new white "Boyfriend" jean shorts from Gap  - saluting of course the All White Kiwi soccer team and my new sandals which Tallulah reckons are "very Africaney", $15 from Payless. Pics take by Harley, 12, and I'm flanked by Jax, 11, Cy, six and Tallulah, 9.

Prayer hands to the left,  prayer hands to the right, then up and down.

Now leeeap to the left, leeeap to the right.

You want to do it now too, don't you? Do it now. Do it for Africa.
